Description:
Setting this attribute to on(3) enforces a clear operation of the alarm status events in the given port. The clear operation will not be applied for masked/inverted alarms.
What is prtSClearAlrCmd?
This object is a command that clears accumulated alarm status events on a specific port when set to value 3 (on). It does not clear masked or inverted alarms, allowing operators to reset alarm history while preserving intentionally suppressed alarms. An operator would use this to acknowledge and clear non-critical alarm states after resolving the underlying issue.
