This attribute indicates whether Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) is used.

What is prtPhMlCAS?

This object controls whether Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) is enabled on a port module, determining how in-band signaling is handled for telephony interfaces. CAS embeds signal information in the voice data stream rather than using separate signaling channels. An operator configures this based on the legacy phone system's signaling method and trunk type.
