This table includes general port parameters. The meaning is different for every product that supports it due to a general parameter - prtControlCnfg.

For ACE2002: -This table is used as a mechanism to create the next interface index. The algorithm description: The NMS will send the agent the following get command: get(nextIfIndex.index), where index=interface on which the new index is dependent on. Upon this command the agent will generate and return the new index to the NMS. - This table is partially supported according to the interface type. Upon getNext function the irrelevant parameters will be skipped.
