Description: This object selects the method used to signal the CGA state to the other end, through the main link. 'none' - non-transparent mode. When one of the links (main) will be in Out Of Service state, both 'Data/Voice Oos' and 'Oos' will be transmitted to the other end. 'trans' - when one of the links (main) will be in Out Of Service state, 'Data/Voice Oos' will be transmitted to the other end. 'full' - fully-transparent mode. When one of the links (main) will be in Out Of Service state, neither 'Data/Voice Oos' nor 'Oos' will be transmitted to the other end.

What is prtMl4CGA?

Configures how the device signals carrier group alarm (CGA) state to the far end—either non-transparent, transparent, or full transparency modes. Different modes control what alarms are sent when a link fails. An operator sets this to control which fault conditions propagate to the remote device.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.2.3.2.19.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RAD-MIB::prtMl4CGA

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.2.3.2.19.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RAD-MIB::prtMl4CGA.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.3.2.3.2.19.1.1.5.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> prtMl4CGA.1
