Description: This object is the FR Window Size. It determines the number of samplings in the sliding window that counts the errors. This parameter is applicable only for FR and FR+ protocols AND only when prtInPh1MlFrMngProt is NOT (notApplicable or none). 0=notApplicable.
What is prtInPh1MlFrWindowSize?
This object specifies the number of sampling intervals included in a sliding window used to count errors on Frame Relay or Frame Relay+ links. A larger window smooths out transient errors; a smaller window reacts faster to sustained problems. This parameter is only applicable for FR protocols and is ignored (set to 0) when error management is disabled. Operators tune this setting to balance error detection sensitivity with noise immunity.
