Description:
This attribute indicates the link connection type. It is required for three reasons: FR/CR Inband management operation (LMI,CLMM...). CIR check. NMS network management.
SameNetManaged - indicates network internal line. SameNetNotMana - indicates network internal line, but the remote mux is not managed by the nms.
User - User to Network Interface. OtherNet - Network To Network Interfce. PubNet - Access Mux To PubNet Interface.
What is prtInPh1MlConnectionTyp?
This OID indicates what type of connection the link is using—such as user-to-network, network-to-network, or internal network managed or unmanaged by the system. Setting this correctly tells the device how to manage the line and what protocols to use for communication. A network operator configures this when connecting Frame Relay or other link types to specify whether the remote side is managed by the same network management system.
