What is prtHdslRptrType?
This read-only object identifies what type of repeater, if any, is installed between the near-end and far-end modems in an HDSL (High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) circuit. The value can be 'none' (direct connection), 'HRPT' (High-Rate Repeater Type), or 'not applicable'. Technicians use this to understand the physical deployment topology and to diagnose signal quality issues in long copper-line installations where repeaters boost the signal.
