Description:
This object indicates the Ethernet mode of operation.
What is ethMode?
This object controls whether an Ethernet interface operates in half-duplex or full-duplex mode, determining if the port can transmit and receive simultaneously or must use alternate timing. Half-duplex is an older mode where collisions can occur; full-duplex allows simultaneous bidirectional communication at full line speed. Operators configure this setting to match the capabilities of connected equipment and optimize port performance.
