Description:
Enable/ disable AIS transmit when Ethernet cable (for TDMoIP) is out (disconnected).
What is dsx1AisEnable?
This OID controls whether to send an alarm signal over the TDM circuit when the Ethernet connection (carrying TDMoIP traffic) goes down. Enabling this alerts the far-end equipment that the link is broken so it can take defensive measures. An operator enables this during deployment to ensure the remote side detects Ethernet failures immediately and doesn't send audio or control data into a dead link.
