Description:
This object enables the user to select a severity for each alarm. The severity is set per alarm code (same for all slots/ports using this code).
What is alrGenSeverity?
This object allows network administrators to configure the severity level assigned to each alarm type (such as critical, major, minor, or warning) in the RAD equipment. The severity applies uniformly to that alarm code across all affected slots and ports. Operators adjust these settings to control alert priorities and focus monitoring on the most important faults.
Examples
