Description: The alarm report type. trap - traps will be sent only for alarms having the selected On/Off severity or higher. buffer - only alarms having the selected On/Off severity and higher, will be reported to the buffer. relay - relay contact will be activated only for alarms having the selected On severity or higher. For products having 2 relays, this is the R1 Relay.

alrLedOn/alrLedBlink - user should select a higher severity (ReportOn) for alrLedBlink than for alrLedOn (Blinking Led means a more severe alarm than steady ON Led). alrLedOn - MTCL-1 Alarm Led will be ON only when agnSAlrStatusAll equals the selected severity or higher, but lower severity than that selected for 'alrLedBlink'. For products having 2 LEDs, this is the Minor LED. alrLedBlink - MTCL-1 Alarm Led will Blink only when agnSAlrStatusAll equals the selected severity or higher. For products having 2 LEDs, this is the Major LED. relay2 - relay 2 contact will be activated only for alarms having the selected On severity or higher. This is the R2 Relay.

What is agnCnfgAlrReportType?

This object specifies how alarm events are reported by the system, with options including sending SNMP traps, buffering to memory, activating relay contacts, or controlling alarm LEDs. Different alarm severity levels can be mapped to different reporting mechanisms (traps, buffer, or relay) based on configuration. An operator would check this setting to understand the alarm notification behavior and determine if alarms of certain severities are being properly escalated to management systems.
