Module: LaserJet-Series8000-Stapler-MIB

OID (symbolic): LaserJet-Series8000-Stapler-MIB::prtoutputmindimxfeeddir

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.4.2.2.9.2.1.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The minimum dimensions supported by this output sub-unit for measurements taken ninety degrees relative to the feed direction associated with that sub-unit in output sub-unit dimensional units (DimUnit). If this output sub-unit can reliably sense this value, the value is sensed by the printer and may not be changed with management protocol operations. Refer to ftp://ftp.pwg.org/pub/pwg/pmp/drafts/pmib_031698.txt, for more details in the Standard Printer MIB. Additional information: The value returned by this object depends on the value of prtOutputDimUnit. For example, for the built-in output trays, it is 36700 if prtOutputDimUnit is ePtenThousandthsOfInches or 93000 if prtOutputDimUnit is ePmicrometers.

What is prtoutputmindimxfeeddir?

The narrowest sheet width, measured across the feed direction, that this output sub-unit can accept. It defines the lower bound of a bin's media envelope, which an admin can use to verify that narrow custom-size or envelope jobs will still be delivered correctly. For example, the built-in output trays report 36700 (ten-thousandths of an inch), about 3.67 inches, the minimum supported cross-feed width.
