Description: Juniper Networks conformance statements for Service Selection Center (SSC) client management on Juniper E-series routers.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is Juniper-SSC-Client-CONF?

Juniper-SSC-Client-CONF is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module declaring SNMP agent support for the Service Selection Center (SSC) client component on Juniper E-series routers, which relates to subscriber service selection/provisioning. It defines no runtime data objects itself, only compliance and variation statements for the underlying SSC client MIB. It carries no hardware or software status data and is not something an operator would poll directly. Its purpose is purely to inform NMS/MIB tooling of the agent's SSC client feature support. It applies to Juniper E-series routers integrated with a Service Selection Center for subscriber provisioning. Engineers can download the Juniper-SSC-Client-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Juniper-SSC-Client-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Juniper E-series router

Monitoring Examples

This module is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES definition with no runtime data objects (sample_objects is empty), so there is no realistic monitoring scenario to describe; it only declares agent conformance for the SSC client feature.
