All MIBs › INTELCORPORATIONBASEBOARDMAPPER-MIB
Category: Domain: Server Hardware, Vendor: Intel
Description: Intel Corporation baseboard mapper MIB providing OID mapping objects that link baseboard components to their monitoring entries.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is INTELCORPORATIONBASEBOARDMAPPER-MIB?
This is a companion "mapper" MIB to Intel's baseboard MIB, providing OID mappings that link baseboard hardware components (such as BIOS) to their monitoring table entries within Intel's server-management tree. It exposes system identification/contact information and BIOS component data alongside general system info like boot time and current date/time. It is used to monitor hardware and software status—system bootup time and date/time act as an uptime/clock check, while BIOS manufacturer and index data support firmware-version tracking. It works alongside INTELCORPORATIONBASEBOARD-MIB and the ICMB feature MIB within Intel's shared server-management OID hierarchy. It is deployed on Intel server platforms for BIOS/firmware and system-identity monitoring. Engineers can download the INTELCORPORATIONBASEBOARDMAPPER-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in INTELCORPORATIONBASEBOARDMAPPER-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Intel server baseboards/motherboards
Monitoring Examples
a2SystemBootupTime and a2SystemDateTime in tGeneralInformation/eGeneralInformation let an admin verify system uptime and detect unexpected reboots, while tSystemBios/eSystemBios with a4BiosIndex and a4BiosManufacturer expose BIOS component details to confirm BIOS version/vendor consistency after a firmware update or hardware replacement. a2SystemPrimaryUserName/a2SystemPrimaryUserPhone additionally support asset/contact tracking tied to the baseboard.
What Can Be Monitored
- system bootup time
- system date/time
- BIOS manufacturer/index
- system contact name/phone
- system name/location

Once issued the challenge string will only be valid for a short time and may only be used once. |
| INT a1004EventLoggingCapability | 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.2.10.7.2.1.8 | INTEGER | read-only | This attribute describes the Event Logging Capabilities. The attribute value can be : Unknown, Unsupported, Active, or Inactive. If the Event logging capability is Active, the BIOS logs the system errors to the FLASH. The LSC reads this FLASH log and takes appropriate actions. If this feature is Inactive, the LSC will read the values from the system registers directly. The Event logging capability can be set to Active or Inactive using the System Configuration Utility (SCU). |
