Category: Domain: Power Management
Description: MIB for the iBoot PDU (Power Distribution Unit) providing outlet-level power control and monitoring via SNMP.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is IBOOTPDU-MIB?
IBOOTPDU-MIB is a Dataprobe (enterprise OID 1418) proprietary MIB for the iBoot-PDU remotely-switched power distribution unit, reporting device identity and outlet/network configuration. Its objects cover firmware version, device name/family/model/connector type, outlet and line-cord count, max current, temperature unit, time zone, calibration flag, modem country code, per-outlet delay time, cloud-service enable/server-address/activation-code/UUID, factory-defaults/reboot actions and reboot-required flag, and serial/console/Telnet/SSH access settings. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm outlet count/current capacity and remote-management access settings on an iBoot-PDU. It is deployed on the Dataprobe iBoot-PDU remote power-switching unit. Engineers can download the IBOOTPDU-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in IBOOTPDU-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Dataprobe iBoot-PDU remote power-switching unit
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks deviceMaxCurrent and outletDelayTime to confirm power capacity and staggered-startup delay configuration on a Dataprobe iBoot-PDU.
What Can Be Monitored
- outlet configuration and remote-management access settings
