Description: HH3C MIB for QoS profile management defining reusable QoS policy templates on H3C devices.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is HH3C-QOS-PROFILE-MIB?
HH3C-QOS-PROFILE-MIB is an H3C proprietary MIB for QoS Profiles, a feature that lets administrators define a reusable, named QoS policy template applied across multiple interfaces or user sessions. It exposes configuration data describing profile definitions and their association with rate-limiting, priority, or scheduling settings rather than live traffic counters. Its main monitoring use is verifying the software/configuration status of QoS policy templates — for example whether a given profile exists, is correctly defined, and is applied to the intended targets — which helps confirm that quality-of-service intent is actually enforced network-wide. It builds on general H3C QoS/ACL conventions and typically works alongside interface-level QoS MIBs for applying the profile. It is deployed in enterprise or broadband-access networks where a single QoS template needs to be consistently applied to many subscribers or ports, such as on an edge-aggregation switch. Engineers can download the HH3C-QOS-PROFILE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HH3C-QOS-PROFILE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- H3C enterprise/broadband access switches and routers
Monitoring Examples
No sample objects were provided for this module, so concrete object names cannot be cited. In general use, an administrator would expect to poll profile-definition objects to confirm a QoS profile's parameters (such as bandwidth or priority settings) and its indexed name, then verify the profile's application status on target interfaces or subscriber sessions. Without a captured schema, this remains an inferred rather than a verified monitoring workflow.

Network managers can allocate different QOS profile groups to different users. Once the user is on line, then the user-specified QOS profiles will be dynamically applied to the port the user connects. Each port can have different groups of users simultaneously connected. Each group of users can have assiociation with multiple QOS profiles simultaneously. So the user's port,MAC address,IP address and VLAN ID will replace the source information in the ACL rules refered in the QOS profiles. Once the user is off line, then the user-specified QOS profiles will be dynamically deleted from the port the user connects. | |

Policed Service is not allowed to be set with remarking DSCP,IpPrecedence,IpPrecedenceFromCOS,COS,COSFromIpPrecedence and LocalPrecedence action simultaneously on the same product. Policed service is user-predefined qos policy parameters. trust-dscp(2) means to decide new police service parameters by the DSCP value in the packets. new-dscp(3) means to decide new police service parameters by the new DSCP value set by the user. And a DSCP mapping table should be pre-defined in the hh3cDscpMapTable in the HH3C-LswQos-MIB. Untrusted(4) means to set all the new DSCP,EXP,COS,Local precedence and Drop priority by the user. |

RFC description
Configures QoS profiles and traffic policing rules for inbound and outbound traffic on H3C devices.
Start monitoring H3C enterprise/broadband access switch/router (named QoS profile templates) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
