What Is G6-SFP-MIB?

G6-SFP-MIB is a MICROSENS GmbH & Co. KG proprietary MIB (built on MICROSENS-G6-MIB) for Generation 6 Ethernet switches, reporting SFP transceiver configuration and information. Its objects cover a config table (index) and an information table (port index) describing installed SFP modules. As a hardware-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which SFP transceivers are installed per port on a Microsens Generation 6 Ethernet switch. It is deployed on MICROSENS Generation 6 Ethernet switching equipment. Engineers can download the G6-SFP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in G6-SFP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
