What is pTrapAddrEntry?

This is the conceptual row of the permanent trap-address table, indexed by the manager's IP address (pTrapAddrAddr), holding up to 10 entries of managers this device sends traps to that persist across resets, unlike the runtime table's aging entries. It groups together the community, version, event-type mask, and state attributes for one permanent trap destination.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Fib-sys::pTrapAddrEntry

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Fib-sys::pTrapAddrEntry.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.1.1.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> pTrapAddrEntry.1
