Category: Alarm and Event Management, Domain: Server Hardware, Vendor: Fujitsu
Description: Fujitsu Siemens Computers MIB for configuring and reporting threshold-based alerts on server hardware sensors.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is FSC-THRESHOLD-REPORT-MIB?
FSC-THRESHOLD-REPORT-MIB is a Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) proprietary MIB for configuring and reporting threshold-based alerts derived from server hardware sensor readings. It exposes agent identity information (company, version, build), overall threshold and report status objects, a rule table describing configured threshold rules, and status/message objects reflecting the outcome of the most recent configuration attempt. It is explicitly a hardware-health monitoring MIB: threshThresholdStatus and threshPerformanceStatus summarize whether any configured sensor threshold (e.g., temperature, voltage, fan speed) has been breached, giving a rolled-up hardware-health signal for the server. It builds on and reports for the underlying FSC hardware-sensor MIBs (the actual raw sensor values live elsewhere; this module manages thresholds and reports against them) rather than duplicating sensor tables itself. It is deployed on Fujitsu Siemens/Fujitsu PRIMERGY-class rack and tower servers for proactive hardware-fault alerting. Engineers can download the FSC-THRESHOLD-REPORT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FSC-THRESHOLD-REPORT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC)/Fujitsu PRIMERGY server
Monitoring Examples
An admin would poll threshThresholdStatus and threshReportStatus to get a quick summary of whether any monitored sensor has crossed a configured threshold, and check threshPerformanceStatus for a performance-related warning state. Walking threshRuleTable/threshRuleEntry by threshRuleName shows each configured threshold rule (e.g., a CPU temperature or fan-speed limit) and its current evaluation, while threshLastSetResultMessage and threshConfigurationChanged reveal whether a recent attempt to update thresholds via SNMP succeeded or failed.
What Can Be Monitored
- overall threshold status
- overall performance status
- configured threshold rules
- last configuration-change result
- report status

RFC description
Fujitsu threshold and report MIB for system threshold value monitoring and report management.
Start monitoring Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC)/Fujitsu PRIMERGY server (hardware sensor threshold alerting) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
