What is npIrStatus?
This read-only INTEGER reports the state of the built-in IR transceiver: ok(0) is idle and ready, the busy* values indicate it's mid-capture or mid-playback, and error(255) flags a hardware fault. An admin checks this after issuing an npIrPlayCmd to confirm the command was actually sent rather than silently dropped.
