Category: SNMP Framework

Description: Defines management objects for DCLRA device configuration and line reporting automation.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is DCLRA-MIB-MIB?

DCLRA-MIB-MIB is a Dell (enterprise OID 412) proprietary MIB implementing the DMTF DMI "component ID" group — attributes common to every managed component under the Dell Lightweight Remote Access (LRA) framework, alongside Dell-specific LRA action controls. Its component-ID table records manufacturer, product, version, serial number, installation date, and a verification flag common to all components, while its action table exposes Dell-specific remote-access control actions. As an inventory/configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm a component's identity fields via the standard DMI attributes and trigger LRA-specific remote actions. It is deployed on Dell server hardware supporting DMI-based lightweight remote access. Engineers can download the DCLRA-MIB-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in DCLRA-MIB-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Dell server hardware with DMI-based Lightweight Remote Access (LRA)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator reads the standard component-ID attributes (manufacturer, product, serial number) via dMTFComponentIDTable to confirm hardware identity before triggering a remote action through dellLRAActionTableTable.

What Can Be Monitored

  • component identity attributes (manufacturer/product/serial/version)
