sCellEventTrap_0d_5f

Module: CPQHSV200V6-MIB

OID (symbolic): CPQHSV200V6-MIB::sCellEventTrap_0d_5f

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.0.13603423

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: Severity: Critical -- failure or failure imminent. The average temperature of two of the three temperature sensor groups (i.e., Drive Enclosure Environmental Monitoring Unit, Disk Drives, and Power Supplies) exceeds the CRITICAL level. The operational power supply(s) will automatically shut down after a short period of time, thereby disabling the drive enclosure. This condition remains active until either the problem is corrected, or the operational power supply(s) shut down, whichever occurs first. Refer to the HSV element manager GUI for the temperature threshold values.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' CPQHSV200V6-MIB::sCellEventTrap_0d_5f
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.0.13603423

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:56980->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (442957460) 51 days, 6:26:14.60
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: CPQHSV200V6-MIB::sCellEventTrap_0d_5f

SNMPv3 example:

snmptrap -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3user -a SHA -A "AuthPass1" -x AES -X "PrivPass1" <manager> '' CPQHSV200V6-MIB::sCellEventTrap_0d_5f
