What is nscUUID?
This is a text string giving the unique ID of a Network Storage Controller. An administrator uses this globally unique identifier to unambiguously track a specific NSC, useful if controller names could be duplicated or changed. For example, this UUID would let a management system reliably correlate historical status data for an NSC even if its display name was later changed.
