Description: This object describes the Dmm packet priority.
What is satStreamDmmPktPriority?
This read-write VlanPriority sets the 802.1p priority marking used on Delay Measurement Message (DMM) packets sent by this SAT stream. An engineer configures this so the DMM probes used for latency measurement are queued the same way as the traffic class being validated, since testing latency at the wrong priority would give misleading results. For example, setting DMM priority to match a voice service's priority ensures the measured delay reflects the actual queue the real voice traffic would experience.
