Description: This attribute is only applicable to Y.1731 probes. This is the number of data frames counted by the Destination MEP (Reflector) that are transmitted towards the Source MEP (Probe). Based on the configuration the MEP counts the data frames with: - MEP's LM RX priority or all the priorities - All the VLAN IDs belonging the MEP's MA VID list.
What is esaProbeStatsY1731R2PFrames?
esaProbeStatsY1731R2PFrames is a 64-bit performance counter, applicable only to Y.1731 probes, counting data frames the destination MEP transmits from the reflector back to the probe, for the interval that is still being actively collected (the live bin). This frame count reflects exactly what the MEP is configured to count, namely its priority filter and its VLAN (MA VID) membership, so a technician cross-checking it against a switch port counter needs to remember it may deliberately be a subset of total traffic. For example, if a technician widens the MEP's counted VLAN list, they expect this live frame count to rise immediately, and if it does not, the configuration change did not actually take effect.
