Description: The minimum negative one-way jitter from destination to source in the current interval.
What is esaProbeStatsMinNegR2PJitter?
esaProbeStatsMinNegR2PJitter is an unsigned 32-bit value that reports the lowest recorded negative one-way jitter (packet-to-packet delay variation), in microseconds, from the reflector back to the probe, for the interval that is still being actively collected (the live bin). Negative (a packet arriving earlier than the one before it) jitter from the reflector back to the probe is exactly the kind of packet-to-packet delay variation that causes stutter in voice and video traffic riding over the same service. For example, if this minimum negative jitter from the reflector back to the probe holds steady at its usual floor while spikes show up elsewhere in the same live bin, the technician watching the dashboard right now can conclude the path itself is healthy and the spikes are transient.
