esaProbeSLAMonitorType is a read-create value telling the device whether this probe runs a point-to-point test or a point-to-multipoint test, with only SLM-SLR probes allowed to be point-to-multipoint. An administrator sets this when defining the probe to decide whether it measures one reflector or fans out to several destinations at once. For example, choosing point-to-multipoint on an SLM-SLR probe lets one probe definition test SLA compliance to several branch-office reflectors simultaneously instead of requiring one probe per branch.
