This read-only PerfCounter64 counts the number of SLA sample data points that measured above the configured maximum value for the distribution histogram, i.e. worse than the last defined bin covers. An administrator monitors this counter as an early warning that traffic is experiencing performance excursions beyond what the histogram was sized to capture. A rising esaProbeDistStatsGTMax value alongside high esaProbeDistStatsConfigLowBoundOfBin9 settings would tell an operator that a link is regularly exceeding even the worst-case bin and needs the range widened or the underlying congestion investigated.
