What is esaProbeDistHistoryGTMax?
This read-only PerfCounter64 records, for a saved historical snapshot, how many sample data points measured above the histogram's configured maximum value at the time the snapshot was taken. An administrator uses it to see, in hindsight, whether a past measurement period had excursions worse than the histogram was designed to capture. If a series of history entries all show rising esaProbeDistHistoryGTMax counts leading up to a known outage, that trend can help correlate performance degradation with the eventual failure.
