This read-write Integer32, ranging 0 to 32, specifies the number of distribution history bins, the total history distribution data maintained for an ESA Probe run at any instance. It sets how many bins of delay/loss distribution data, such as a histogram of delay buckets, this probe retains, separate from the simple time-series history bins. For example, setting DistHistoryBins to 16 lets an operator later examine a 16-bucket distribution of measured delay values to judge how consistent latency was, not just its average.
