Description: Allows specification of a VLAN tagged ECPA stream. This variable enables the outer VLAN specification, in the case of a doubly tagged ECPA stream. If a singly tagged ECPA stream is desired, this specification is mandatory.
What is ecpaTestStreamOuterVlanEnabled?
This read-write TruthValue sets or reports whether outer VLAN tagging is enabled for this test instance; specifying it is mandatory for a singly-tagged stream. It confirms whether the currently running test is actually generating VLAN-tagged frames as intended. For example, if OuterVlanEnabled unexpectedly reads false during a supposedly VLAN-tagged test, that explains why the test frames are being dropped by an access switch expecting a tag.
