Description: Indicates an 8-byte signature specified by the user in hexadecimal or ASCII format. This signature is currently used by the FSP150Mx products for test frame recognition and will be appended directly after the ECPA Signature in the test frame and be 4-byte aligned. This will allow the F3 ECPA feature to interoperate with the existing FSP150Mx products. Hexadecimal signature must be prefixed with 0x/0X.
What is ecpaConfigStreamSignature?
This read-write DisplayString of up to 10 characters specifies an 8-byte signature in hex or ASCII, used by FSP150Mx products for test-frame recognition and appended directly after the ECPA signature, 4-byte aligned; hex values must be prefixed 0x or 0X. It lets this stream's test frames be recognized specifically by FSP150Mx equipment for interoperability. For example, setting a hex signature like 0xDEADBEEF ensures an FSP150Mx device at the far end can recognize and loop back this stream's frames correctly.
