What is vtVcPathBerExcThreshold?
This read-write BitErrRate object provides the threshold for an excessive bit-error-rate (BEREXC) condition on the OCn VT1.5/VC12 tributary, per its description. Administrators tune it to control the error rate at which a service-affecting alarm is raised specifically at this low-order tributary level. For example, setting a tighter BEREXC threshold on a tributary carrying a leased-line voice circuit causes the system to flag service-affecting errors sooner than a looser threshold would for a less sensitive tributary.
