What is ieee1588EthernetPortMDIXType?
This read-write object controls the MDI/MDIX (Medium Dependent Interface / Medium Dependent Interface Crossover) setting for an IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol Ethernet port, allowing manual selection between auto-MDI-X, crossed, and uncrossed modes. The setting determines whether the port automatically detects or uses a fixed cable wiring configuration. Operators adjust this value when physical cable layouts do not match standard conventions or when auto-detection fails.
