Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::f3TimeOfDayPortAssumedClockClass

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.55.1.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object allows specification of the Assumed Clock Class for an input TOD port. It is only an indication and cannot be set for an output TOD Port.

What is f3TimeOfDayPortAssumedClockClass?

This object lets an admin manually declare an assumed clock class, 0 to 255, for an input Time Of Day port, and is a read-only indication rather than settable when the port is configured as output. It's used when the incoming ToD source doesn't itself signal a clock class, letting the admin record the known quality of that source for downstream synchronization decisions. For example, if the ToD source is a manually verified atomic clock without automatic class signaling, the admin sets f3TimeOfDayPortAssumedClockClass to reflect its known high-grade accuracy.
