f3PulsePerSecondPortSquelchQL

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::f3PulsePerSecondPortSquelchQL

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.53.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: SSMQualityLevel

Access: read-write

Description: This object allows to set the Squelch QL for the Pulse Per Second port. This value is used when f3PulsePerSecondPortSquelchControl is squelch-ql. The Squelch QL is used to determine whether or not to squelch the output of the TOD port. If the system's QL is lower than the Squelch QL, the output is squelched.

What is f3PulsePerSecondPortSquelchQL?

This object sets the minimum Quality Level threshold below which the PPS port's output is squelched, used when f3PulsePerSecondPortSquelchControl is set to squelch-ql. Admins tune this threshold to control how strict the timing-quality cutoff is before the port stops passing a PPS signal downstream. For example, setting f3PulsePerSecondPortSquelchQL to a mid-tier quality level means the PPS output is muted as soon as the system's clock QL falls below that grade.
