Description: This object represents the administrative state of the IRIG output port.
What is f3IrigOpticalOutputPortAdminState?
This read-write object controls the administrative (enabled/disabled) state of the optical IRIG output port. An admin uses it to deliberately shut down or re-enable the optical timing feed, for instance while swapping the optical transceiver. For example, disabling this object before a fiber patch change prevents the far-end clock from raising a spurious signal-loss alarm.
