f3GPSReceiverPortPDOPMask

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::f3GPSReceiverPortPDOPMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.57.1.27

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object configures PDOP Mask used by the GNSS Receiver. The mask value is expressed in hundredth of the PDOP definition value and it is rounded to the nearest multiple of hundreds. For instance, a value of 200 means that GNSS Receiver stops collecting data when f3GPSReceiverPortPDOP value exceeds 200.

What is f3GPSReceiverPortPDOPMask?

This object sets a PDOP mask, expressed in hundredths and rounded to the nearest hundred, above which the GNSS receiver stops collecting position data. Admins tune it to reject satellite geometry that would produce an unreliable position fix, protecting the accuracy of any self-survey or location output. For example, setting f3GPSReceiverPortPDOPMask to 200 means the receiver halts data collection whenever its calculated PDOP exceeds 2.00, a level of geometric uncertainty considered too poor to trust.
