This read-create TruthValue turns traffic policing on or off for this Policer instance: when disabled, policing is bypassed entirely and traffic passes through unmarked and undiscarded by this policer; when enabled, the configured CIR/EIR policing is applied. An administrator disables this temporarily to troubleshoot whether a policer is the cause of unexpected discards on a flow point. For example, disabling policing on a suspect policer and observing that discards stop confirms the policer's rate limits were responsible.
