This object configures the VLAN priority value that is used to decode the drop eligibility (DE) flag when processing incoming Ethernet frames on a traffic port in an ADVA optical device. The priority is extracted from the incoming frame and used to determine QoS treatment and whether the frame should be preferentially discarded during congestion. Operators set this value to ensure that traffic marked with different priorities receives appropriate handling based on the device's QoS policy.
