Description: The status of this row. An entry MUST NOT exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value, as described in the description clause for each writable object.
The values of e1t1RowStatus supported are createAndGo(4) and destroy(6). All mandatory attributes must be specified in a single SNMP SET request with e1t1RowStatus value as createAndGo(4). Upon successful row creation, this object has a value of active(1).
The e1t1RowStatus object may be modified if the associated instance of this object is equal to active(1).
What is e1t1RowStatus?
This is the standard SNMP row-lifecycle control for an entry in the E1/T1 port table, accepting only createAndGo(4) to activate a new row or destroy(6) to remove one. Because all mandatory E1/T1 attributes such as line code and frame format must be supplied in the same SET that carries createAndGo, this object is how a management system provisions a new E1/T1 circuit atomically. For instance, a provisioning script adds a new T1 tributary by sending one SNMP SET that includes e1t1LineCode, e1t1FrameFormat, and e1t1RowStatus=createAndGo(4) together.
