cmPrioMapInnerTagPriority
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmPrioMapInnerTagPriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.10.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: VlanPriority
Access: read-write
Description: This allows specification of the VLAN priority that will replace the outgoing (A2N direction) inner-tag's (i.e. second tag) priority. Note that, each flow participates or not in inner-tag priority mapping, using the object 'cmFlowInnerTagPrioEnabled'.
What is cmPrioMapInnerTagPriority?
This read-write VlanPriority object specifies the VLAN priority that will replace the outgoing (A2N direction) inner-tag's (second tag) priority for a mapped priority value; participation is controlled per-flow via cmFlowInnerTagPrioEnabled. It mirrors the outer-tag priority remarking object but targets the inner (second) VLAN tag instead, relevant specifically to Q-in-Q services where the inner tag carries the customer's own priority marking. For example, on a Q-in-Q flow where the inner tag needs to be normalized to priority 3 for consistent core-network handling, an admin would set cmPrioMapInnerTagPriority to 3, effective once inner-tag priority remarking is enabled on that flow.
