OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.33.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CmControlProtocolDispType

Access: read-write

Description: Control Protocol Disposition for STP UplinkFast. MAC Address (01:00:0C:CD:CD:CD), Ethertype(0x200A).

What is cmPortCpdProfileUplinkFastDispType?

This read-write object specifies the disposition applied to Spanning Tree UplinkFast protocol frames on this port's CPD profile, identified by MAC address 01:00:0C:CD:CD:CD and Ethertype 0x200A. An administrator sets this to control how UplinkFast convergence-acceleration frames, used to speed up STP failover on access switches, are handled by this port. For example, setting this disposition to tunnel on a port carrying a customer's internal spanning-tree traffic lets UplinkFast frames pass through transparently rather than being intercepted by the carrier's own equipment.
