Type: CmControlProtocolDispType

Access: read-write

Description: Control Protocol Disposition for PAGP (Port Aggregation Protocol). MAC Address (01:00:0C:CC:CC:CC), Ethertype(0x104).

What is cmPortCpdProfilePagpDispType?

This read-write object specifies the disposition, such as peer, drop, or pass-through, applied to Port Aggregation Protocol (PAGP) frames on this port's CPD profile, identified by the reserved MAC address 01:00:0C:CC:CC:CC and Ethertype 0x104. An administrator sets this to control whether PAGP negotiation frames from Cisco-style link aggregation are processed locally, discarded, or tunneled across this port. For example, setting this disposition to drop on a port that is not part of a PAGP-based aggregation prevents unnecessary PAGP frames from being processed or forwarded unexpectedly.
