OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmPortCpdProfileGMRPDispType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.33.1.25

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CmControlProtocolDispType

Access: read-write

Description: Control Protocol Disposition for GARP Multicast Registration Protocol. MAC Address (01:80:C2:00:00:20).

What is cmPortCpdProfileGMRPDispType?

This read-write object specifies the disposition applied to GARP Multicast Registration Protocol (GMRP) frames on this port's CPD profile, identified by MAC address 01:80:C2:00:00:20. An administrator sets this to control whether the port participates in, drops, or tunnels GMRP multicast group registration messages. For example, setting this disposition to drop on a port where dynamic multicast registration via GMRP is not desired prevents the device from reacting to those GARP frames.
