OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmPortCpdProfileCiscoGroupDispType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.33.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CmControlProtocolDispType
Access: read-write
Description: Deprecated - each Cisco protocol has its own disposition. Control Protocol Disposition for Cisco Group. This includes ISL, PAGP, UDLD, CDP, VTP, DTP, PSVTP+, UplinkFast, VLAN Bridge, L2PT. Note that a specific protocol filter overrides the group setting.
What is cmPortCpdProfileCiscoGroupDispType?
This deprecated read-write object set a single group-level disposition (such as peer, drop, or tunnel) for an entire bundle of Cisco proprietary Layer-2 control protocols including ISL, PAGP, UDLD, CDP, VTP, DTP, PVSTP+, UplinkFast, VLAN Bridge, and L2PT, though a specific per-protocol filter would still override this group setting. An administrator would have used it as a quick blanket setting before per-protocol disposition objects existed, applying one policy to all these Cisco control protocols at once on the port. For example, on newer configurations an operator should set the individual objects like cmPortCpdProfileCdpDispType and cmPortCpdProfilePagpDispType separately instead of relying on this deprecated group-wide control.
