Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmPortCpdProfileBridgeReservedDispType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.33.1.22

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CmControlProtocolDispType

Access: read-write

Description: Deprecated - individual dispositions available for each MAC. Control Protocol Disposition for Range of MAC Addresses from 01:80:C2:00:00:04 to 01:80:C2:00:00:0F.

What is cmPortCpdProfileBridgeReservedDispType?

This deprecated read-write object set one disposition for the entire reserved range of bridge MAC addresses from 01:80:C2:00:00:04 through 0F, before the platform gained individual per-MAC disposition objects, such as cmPortCpdProfileMac04DispType through cmPortCpdProfileMac0FDispType, for each address in that range. An administrator would have used this single object to control the whole reserved-MAC range at once. For example, current configurations should instead set each specific Mac0xDispType object individually to get granular control that this deprecated range-wide object could not provide.
