Description: Deprecated - individual dispositions available for each MAC. Bridge Group Control Protocol Disposition Type. This includes BPDU, PAUSE (IEEE 802.3x Flow Control), LACP (Link Aggregation), LACP Marker (Marker), EFM OAM (IEEE 802.3 ah) and IEEE 802.1x Port Authentication, besides reserved MAC addresses from 01:80:C2:00:00:04 thru 01:80:C2:00:00:0F.

What is cmPortCpdProfileBridgeGroupDispType?

This deprecated read-write object set one blanket disposition for an entire bundle of IEEE bridge-group control protocols, including BPDU (spanning tree), PAUSE flow control, LACP, LACP Marker, EFM OAM, and 802.1x port authentication, along with reserved MAC addresses 01:80:C2:00:00:04 through 0F. An administrator would have used it as a single group-wide policy before individual per-protocol disposition objects, like cmPortCpdProfileBPDUDispType and cmPortCpdProfileLACPDispType, existed. For example, modern configurations should use the specific per-protocol objects instead, since this deprecated group setting can no longer distinguish between, say, wanting to peer LACP while dropping 802.1x on the same port.
