Description: The status of this row. An entry MUST NOT exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value, as described in the description clause for each writable object.
The values of cmOAMFlowPointRowStatus supported are createAndGo(4) and destroy(6). All mandatory attributes must be specified in a single SNMP SET request with cmOAMFlowPointRowStatus value as createAndGo(4). Upon successful row creation, this object has a value of active(1).
The cmOAMFlowPointRowStatus object may be modified if the associated instance of this object is equal to active(1).
What is cmOAMFlowPointRowStatus?
This is the standard SNMP RowStatus object used to create or delete an OAMFlowPoint table entry, supporting only createAndGo(4) to instantiate a new OAM-dedicated flow point and destroy(6) to remove one, with all mandatory attributes required in the same creating SET request. An administrator uses this to provision or tear down the OAM monitoring flow point associated with a customer service. For example, decommissioning a customer's circuit would involve setting this object to destroy(6) to remove its dedicated OAM flow point along with the regular service flow point.
