This read-write VlanPriority is the internal input priority translated into an IP Precedence value carrying drop-eligibility or drop-ineligibility marking as traffic leaves this network port. An administrator uses it to make sure a given internal traffic class is represented consistently in the IP Precedence field seen by routers further along the path. For example, mapping internal priority 2 through this object determines exactly which IP Precedence drop-eligibility marking that traffic receives on egress.
